BASIC PURPOSE:
Overall program management for the Central Facilities Management (CFM) line of business. Program management includes responsibility of the growth and expansion of new and existing business, pricing of new requirements as well as pricing of additions and deletions to current projects, contract management functions, and technical support. Support is provided to both AbilityOne and non-AbilityOne commercial endeavors.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Lead the development and growth of the CFM line of business throughout South Central and occasionally throughout other regions. Develop and execute the Business Plan for the line of business throughout the region.
• Works with National Account Manager to prepare sales and marketing information for potential customer presentations and nonprofit agencies interested in participating in the CFM line of business.
• Works with National Account Manager to interface technology partners and other industry vendors during implementation of CFM requirements.
• Serve as a primary interface to Federal Customers. Present the CFM line of business at forums and conferences as appropriate.
• Assist regional project managers in the preparation of costing / pricing proposals for current projects and new project Additions to the Federal Procurement List
• Determines need for technical support and the source, organic or outside consultant.
• Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Knowledge of Project Management/Business Management methodologies.
• Experience in Project Management of implementing new CFM facilities and/or streamlining existing CFM facilities.
• Experience in Managing CFM contracts
• Experience devising detailed CFM product marketing/business plans
• Experience in CFM product development management
• Experience with the latest CFM technologies and – components.
• Demonstrated experience of execution of CFM product marketing/business plans
• Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to resolve complex matters
• Constantly utilizes high level of interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills to senior level management
• Personal computer skills especially database, spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a program management team
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in demanding conditions
• Travel required
• Experience in writing technical and marketing white papers on CFM topics a plus
EDUCATION:
• 10+ years with BA/BS; 8+ years with MA/MS
• 1½ years experience = 1 year college.
